It’s All About the KIDS!

The Stars and Stripes Charity Tournament, one of the most unique and successful charity events honoring “It’s all about the Kids,” celebrated its 25th anniversary with nearly a thousand attendees from around the world. Participants traveled to Cabo to help raise funds for those less fortunate and enjoy the many things the area offers.
Over 50 teams participated in the two-day Sportfishing Tournament. It began with a spectacular parachute jump by U.S. Veteran and paraplegic Dana Bowman as he floated toward the beach with the flags of the United States and Mexico fluttering beneath his chute.

Over 100 Baja Kids Attend IGFA Passport Clinic

Que Pasa A hundred girls and boys attended the First Children’s Sport Fishing Clinic given by the Secretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture (Sepesca). 3,000-Pound Blue Marlin Restored

Copa Baja California Dates Set

Remarkably, 402 anglers signed up for this popular event that had been missed because of COVID-19
It was a short early morning bite but some really quality fish were caught according to Jansen. Overall 62 sierras were brought to the scale.

Baja Village devastated by fire

At least 50 hectares of forest burned in the small town of Santiago, 55 kilometers north of San José del Cabo. A fire in a palm tree forest in Baja California Sur damaged or destroyed at least 40 homes on Friday night. The fire burned about six hectares of forest, damaging dozens of properties. The area’s characteristic high winds blew the flames out of control.

Baja Bottomfish Booming
