Baja’s Season starts EARLY!

April Fool’s Day has faded into oblivion, leaving behind a great week of spring-like weather with sea temps in the low 70s and calm seas that have settled in for the week. As we mentioned in last week’s report, the striped marlin reappeared, and “La Chingona” released seven at the infamous Punta Gordo Bank, giving the rest of our Pisces fleet something to shoot for.

Baja Grouper Dazzle

With a fun fishing clinic and the participation of about 50 girls and boys, registration for the children’s high seas tournament, “𝗕𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮” began on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

The children received training to carry out safe and responsible sport fishing at the event sponsored by Bisbee’s tournaments and FONMAR. IGFA provided the concept and all materials for the Passport Clinic.
